Christine Peer-Valenta –SI Representative UN Vienna. Soroptimist International is a global volunteer movement founded in 1921, advocating for human rights and gender equality. With a network of over 75,000 club members in 122 countries, with 5 clubs in Vienna, Austria. Christine has been a Soroptimist for over 24 years at different levels. At the club level – Member of SI Wien Donau since 1994, Secretary, Club President;1999-2001. At the union Level – Coordinator for IGU( 4 years), 2001-2005; Deputy Governor 2005-2007; Union Webmaster, President-Elect Union President 2008-2010; Twinning Officer for Hungary and Slovenia since 2015. At the federation Level – 1st Vice President SIE 2011-2013 and Programme Director SIE 2013-2015. Christine is also a member of the Club of Wien-Donau and Austrian Union.
Elena Castellucci – Vice President Juvenilia of Juvenilia Club Wien, an association that works for the rights of women and their equality in society. The members are young working women and women students. Juvenilia is a front-line organization of Soroptimist International. In addition to promoting women equality, Juvenilia also focus on equal opportunities of all kinds and promotion of education. Elena is also a certified fitness and health trainer, certified holistic health coach and expert in public health.
Cecilia Vera Lagomarsino – Co-Founder of WUANBN, Consultant in Gender and International Relations; Regional Coordinator for Austria, RAUN. Cecilia holds a Master’s degree in International Relations and Diplomacy from the University of Milan, Italy. During the studying period, she spent one year in Bucharest, Romania with the Erasmus Programme. She went to the German School of Milan, and her knowledge of foreign languages is excellent. Prior to joining RAUN, she worked at the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly as a Research Assistant. She deployed with the OSCE PA Delegation to observe the Presidential elections in the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia, attended the meetings of OSCE governmental structures, wrote reports, and liaised with Embassies and Permanent Delegations to the OSCE. Thanks to her analytical and writing skills, she also successfully completed a Traineeship at the Information Office of the European Parliament and an Internship at the Consulate General of Italy in Hamburg, Germany. Moreover, she worked as a Media Intern at the International Office for Migration (IOM) in the Research and Migration Law Department. In October 2017, she observed the Early Parliamentary Elections in Austria with the OSCE/ODIHR Election Assessment Mission. Her areas of expertise are gender equality and international law.

She worked with various UN affiliated organizations like UNICEF, UNDP, UNESCO, UNHCR, WFP, UNFPA, WB, ADB as well as intergovernmental organizations CTBTO and OSCE in multiple domains and in numerous field offices and Headquarters in Europe, Asia and North America.
